Active or passive movement of the joints may also be part of the massage. Deep Tissue/Sports Massage

 Deep tissue massage is best for giving attention to certain painful, stiff "trouble spots" in your body. The massage therapist uses slow, deliberate strokes that focus pressure on layers of muscles, tendons, or other tissues deep under your skin. Though less rhythmic than other types of massage, deep tissue massage can be therapeutic - relieving chronic patterns of tension and helping with muscle injuries, such as back sprain.

Hot Stone Massage

 Hot stone massage is a type of massage that involves the use of smooth, heated stones. The massage therapist places the hot stones on specific points on your body and may also hold the stones while giving the massage. The localized heat and weight of the stones warm and relax muscles, allowing the massage therapist to apply deeper pressure to those areas without causing discomfort

Pregnancy Massage

Specially designed for the mommy to be, this massage uses pillows and cushions to provide support and comfort in a side-lying position. This massage helps reduce swelling, back pain, joint stress and other lovely surprises a pregnancy can bring.

The recommendation for Pregnancy Massage is usually for the 2nd and 3rd trimesters. Please consult with your doctor prior to receiving any type of massage. PLEASE NOTE:  Doctors note required for all first time pre-natal appointments.

Insurance

In some cases we are able to bill health insurance provided we are contracted with or currently haWe can only estimate the coverage that your insurance company will provide for the services that we render, and we are unable to make any guarantees regarding coverage or payment from your insurance company, due to the complexities and variations in insurance company policies.

You will be required to pay the estimated patient portion of fees charged at the time of treatment. As a courtesy, our office staff will bill your insurance company for covered services and allow a 45-day grace period for them to pay. If the insurance company has not paid the balance of your bill within 60 days, you will be responsible for any unpaid portion. If you have any questions regarding your account, please call our billing office at 425-381-3866.

Financial Information

Co-pays, deductibles and any portion of your bill that is considered to be Patient Responsibility, i.e., that portion of costs that your insurance policy does not cover, is due and payable at the time you receive treatment. For your convenience, we accept a variety of payment methods. We will also submit all claims to your insurance company for you. Our office staff will make every effort to ensure that you receive the full benefits of your insurance policy. However, your account is your responsibility. Therefore, we encourage you to contact our office if your account has not been paid within 30 days. If you have any questions about your account, please call our billing office at 425-381-3866.


Physicians Referral 

Medical massage billed to your insurance company requires diagnosis codes.  The diagnosis of any condition being treated with medical massage must come from a  Doctor, Chiropractor, or other provider licensed to write prescriptions in the state of Washington. It is outside our scope of practice to diagnosis.  Some insurance companies state that a RX for medical massage is not required, however it is our policy that you bring in a Medical Massage Referral (RX) with diagnosis codes, if you would like us to bill your insurance.
